FRAOD.— On the 27th June, 1866, Moteewallah, a Printer, was convicted at the Supreme Court, Calcutta, of counterfeiting the Labels of Messrs Crosse and Blackwell, London, and was sentenced by Mr Justice Phear to two years' rigorous imprisonment ; and on the 30th of the same montii for selling spurious articles, bearing labels in imitation of Messrs Crosse and Blackwell's, Shaik Bachoo was sentenced by the Suburban Magistrate at Saaldah, to two years' rigorc-us imprisonment. Caution.—Any one selling spurious oilmen's stores, under Crosse and mlackwell's name, will be liable to the same punishBent, and will be vigorously pro ;ecuted. Purchasers are recommended to examine all goods carefully before taking delivery of them.
