The Vote will be by Ballot, and the following three questions -will oe submitted :— ! lss. Are you in favour of Building Gas Works ? 2nd- Are y«u in favour of Purchasing the present Works (if obtainable) for the stun of £22,C09 ? 3rd. Are you in favour of accepting a fresh Contract for lighting the City lamps at a reduced rate ? The Polling Booths will be as under :— South Ward—Old Police Barracks, Princes street south. RIFLES FOR HANDICAPPING :— The winner of a first prize to be handicapped two '2> points, and an additional point fer every first prize he wins after. The winner of a second prize to be handicapped one (1) point for the fist second prize he ■wins, and one (1) point for the second second prize. Any competitor arriving on the ground after some of the matches have been fired off, he will, if he chooses, have the privilege of firing his number of shots for aggregate prizes, by paying the entrance money.
