MAILS CLOSE— For Oaniaru, per p.s, Wallace, this day, at 8.45 a.m. Per s.s. Tararua, on Tuesday, the 19th inst., as under :— For India, China, Ceylon, Singapore, &0., &c., at 12 noon. For Melbourne, Australian Colonies, and Southland, at 1.30 p,m. N.B.—No mails for the United Kingdom will be sent by this steamer, as she cannot be expected to reach Melbourne in time for thfi P. and O. Company's steamer. For Oamaru, per p.s. Wallace, on Friday, the 22nd inst., at 8.45 a.m. Mails for the United Kingdom, America, &c, via San Francisco, will close at this office, per s.s. Phoebe, on the 28th inst. ARCH.
