Of her passage Captain Welsh reports that Hie barque left Newcastle on the 14th inst., and experienced easterly and N.E. winds to making Foveaax Straits on the fifth day out. Since then light easterly airs, calms, and fogs were met with to arrival. Reports passing on Saturday last in the Straits the barque Indus, and another supposed the Bengal, both from this Port, bound to Kewcastle.
