(Before T. Birch, Esq., and Captain Fraser.) DRUNKENNESS AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT.
John M'Nichol and George Watt were fined respectively 5s and 10s each, having the alternative of 24 hours' imprisonment.
VAGRANCY.
Catherine Ainslie, charged with this offence, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment, with hard labour.
STEALING FROM THE PERSON,
Bridget Kane, charged with stealing L2 from the pereon of Alexander Watt, was sentenced to three mouths' imprisonment, with hard labour. ASSAULT. The charges of assault preferred by John Ferguson against Alice Potts, and Alice Potts against John Ferguson, were dismissed with cos:s.
