Taking your own statement us to the purchaso of Bills of Exchange from Mr James Thompson, drawn by the National Bank on Messrs Gljn and Co., what became of the money, from the timo you drew it from the public account at the Bank, till tue time of the alleged purchasa of these draft* several months later ? 5. How comes it that the National Bank of Scotland and Messrs Glyn and Co. deny oil knowledge of thi3 Draft ? 6. Who is James Thompson ? 7. Uow conies it that, if, ac you Allege, you are inroccnt of tlcso niattcra, you do not take the usual Bteps in prosecuting those persons who publicly make such charges ? 8. You luvo asserted publicly that, when you were Superintendent, a bribe of L3QOO wan offered to you to throw certain land into the market. Have you any objection to Batne the person who was bold ; enough to offer this bribo to a Superintendent, and bow do you account for having orerlooked the insalt aad offence committed thereby ?
