It is eitnate on tbe Wairoa, a river navigable for many miles from its mouth, -with a back country, containing large blocks of rich agricultural land, and also an extensive pastoral district. !fhe Provincial Government have about two hundred thousand acres in this district to open up for settlement; the whole of this country is nt present unoocupied and will be offered to public competition. 2nd. Suburban land adjoining the township of Clyde. This district will be laid out in lota of from tea to sixty acres, and is nearly a'l rich cgi icnitural land, a great deal of it abuttine cntha Wairoa Kivor. It will bo disposed of by public auction.
