Messrs Ireland and Wood have been retained for ; a; motion ia the Supreme Caurt, asking leave, to file a criminal information against.the Hon. George T. Verdon, Treasurer, the Hon. G., Higijin.bothara, Attorney-General, and Mr BramwelJ, manager of the London Chartered Bank, for conspiring, with nnn Charles Darling, to deal with the.public accounts in a manner not provided for by la*. ; The Sarah, from Mauritius, bring 4700 bags sugar.
