Notwithstanding arrivals of breadstuffs from Chili, there is no excitement in the mirkot. We understand that the cargo of the Herald of Light, reported amongst the arrivals this i.iorning, was sold afloat several months ago. It is moreover reported that another cavgo, expected to come in shortly, has also changed

hands; tho price paid, however, has not transpired. The Herald of Light's dates are to 3rd Juno, and we understand that her cargo was to have been taken in at Touie, but owing to the excitement prevailing there, the vessel h-id to be loaded at Valparaiso. Freights to England were quoted 50s to 475, but there was no enquiry for charters, either for Australian or Ca!if.;rnian account.
