The total amount of revenue received on goods passed for home consumption was .€■lsl Os 2*l, the items being:—Brandy, 222 gals, X 133 43 ; whisky, 21 gals, XI2 18a 5d ; geneva, 14Sgals, £S9 8s 9d ; rum, 57gals, X 34 4s ; wine, 12lgals, £25 4s 5d ; bitters, ISgals, XH) 173 Gd ; bottled beer, 77gals, £5 15s Gd ; tobacco, IGOlbs, £21 2s Gd ; cigars, 12Slbs, £29 Os 3d; tea, 17441b5, £43 12s ; sugar, GG24!bs, £27 12s ; drapery, £9 ISs 9d ; sundries, L 2 9s 7d.
The inclement weather and the arrival ot the English Mail have combined to suspend business to a great extent. Scarcely anything, either privately or by auction, has been done.
