Mr Barnes seconded the motion. It was his intention to bring in a much stronger motion at nr-xt meeting with reference to another resolution which had been pns'ed by the Board, but which had not b^en carried out by the f.ngineer.

Mr D. Miller, Jan., su.ported the motion ; which was then pntto the meeting and carried. A motion standing In the name of Mr M'Leod lapsed, as that gentleman was not present. Tho b^lano. sheet for the year wai presented by the Clerk, but it was not road, and its consideration was postponed. The Board adjourned to Monday next.
