Business has opened rather quietly this week, and we hear of no transactions of any interest, except in the article of flour. We'understand the cargo of flour by the Rona, just arrived frpm Adelaide, consisting of 75 tons Hart's, and 75 tons Magarey's, w&s to-day placed in one line at a price which has not been allowed to transpire; and immediately on this sale becoming known several other smaller parcels changed hands at L 24 10s to L 25 for Adelaide brands, and L 22 10s for Chilian.

An error appeared iv our report of the manifest of the cargo per Rona, which we have been requested to correct Instead of 1500 bags of flour consigned to Cleve and Co., it shoald bave been 1500 bags flour consigned to "order.'" In passing the entry, the consignee's name (Chalmers) was placed in the margin contiguous to fche word "order."

InvercAilgiil. - The Southland Times, of the 10th inst, reports as follows :—

In our markets we find little or nothing to report. Business generally continues dull, and quotations remain unaltered. The flour market, in consequence of recent advices, ia steady; but there i 8 little doing, sales being only effected to meet everyday requirements. The price of Adelaide we quote at L2B to L3O; Tasmanian, from L 25 to L 27.
