Consumption.—for this insidious and fatal disease, no remedy on earth has ever been found so effectual. It subdues the inflammation, relieves the couorh and pain, removes the difficulty of breathing, and produces an easy expectoration, thereby ail irritating and obstructing matters are removed from the lupg?, Whooping Couch is promptly relieved by this exDecitorant. It shortens the duration of the disease by one half, and| greatly mitigates the suffering of the parent. In all pulmonary complaints, in croup, pleurisy, etc., it will be found to be prompt, safe, pleasant, and reliable, and may be especially commended to ministers, teachers, and singers, for the relief of hoarseness, and for strengthening the organs of the voice; Dr. D. Jayne's family medicines being compounded on strictly scientific principles, and hanng for thirty years past been uniformly successful wherever tried, are now recommended with confidence to the public for the various diseßse* for which they are designed.
