T • Ointment) has introduced a soluble preparation for the cure, of Scab in Sheep, which he has submitted to the severest experimental tests both in Victoria and New South Wales, Competent author-, lties have declared that no other application ever introduced exerts the same complete and instantaneout control over the disease of scab. The cure is gradually perfected ; with a single, dipping the constitution ot the sheen is renovated, and the fleece (never subject -f e mf *'-"J"^) undergoes a decided improvement. The color, growth, fullness and elasticity »f the wool after dipping has been specially commended. Theground on which the flock is returned after the dip as thoroughly disinfected; the destruction of the scab animalcule (acarus) is absolute, being carried on constitutionally beneath as well as externally upon the skin.
