TAIERI RIVER. >Vf OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the South _L3I Channel at the mouth of the Taieri River is now open, having a depth of (5) five fest on the bar at low water spring tides; and that the JNorfh Channel is so narrowed and nearly dry at low water, as to be unsafe for vessels to enter by it. Masters of vessels visiting this river should be conversant with the signals in use at the bar, and be guided entirely "by them.
