ORIGINAL CORRESPONDENCE.
THE REQUISITION TO MR PATERSON.
(To the Editor of the Daily Times.)
§ir, —I have been repeatedly asked why the requisitipn addressed to me, and my reply thereto, have never appeared in your paper. And as such a circumstance is liable to misconstruction I think it right that you should be informed of the real state of the case. The facts, then, are just these. Those documetits were sent to the Telegraph Office with instructions to forw.ard a copy to your office, which theypro- ; mised to do as soon as it was in type. When the next/ day's paper appeared without it, I called at the Telegraph Office to ask if it had been sent to you, and was told it had been overlooked but would then be done. Aa it has never appeared in your paper I suppose that it has never been sent to you, and such is the reason why;You will oblige me by inserting it in your future numbers, ■■.-...-•■ I am, &c, JAB. PATBBSOH. Esaequubo Lodge, 12th May, 1893.
