The following are the quantities of gold brought by this week's Escort: — oz. dwts. Wakatipu 10,347 5 Dunstan 2,821 15 Tuapeka 2,416 O Waitahuna . 445 O Woolshed • 350 O Total.. 16,380 O Of the Wakatipu gold 6023 ozs. 10 dwts. was from Queenstown, and 4323 ozs. 15 dwt. from the Arrow township. The receipts from Tuapeka and Waitahuna probably represent nearly three weeks', work, as no gold was forwarded from either place ior the two previous weeks.
