The White Star ship Red Jacket, wliich was seen off Dunediu ou Saturday forenoon, made the Heals this (Sunday) morning, and was to\v«l by theSainson to the upper end of the cross channel, the strong wind and tide down preventing her heing brought at once to the anchorage. Captain Harley reports having left Port Phillip"Heads on the afternoon of Friday, the 20th inst. Ofr Cape Schauk the vessel was becalmed until noon on Saturday, and thence she completed the run to the Snares by 4 a.m. on Thursday last. From the Snares s>he experienced very light north-easterly winds and calms, by whicli her otherwise satisfactory pnssage wa« considerably protracted. Was on the coast about a week, but got blown off during recent gales. The steamer Lady Barkly, returned to-day (Sunday) from an experimental trip to thp Taieri, in place ofthe steamer Planet, recently wrecked there.
