Benefit under distinguished patronage given at Theatre Royal in aid. Electoral Act passed Assembly. Small rush taken place at Stringer's Creek) Gipps Land. Prospect, quarter to half ounce to dish. Bogatyr has left for Sydney. Sea Nymph, Jane, and Red Jacket sailed for Dunedin. Latter takes six hundred. Review on St. Patrick's day postponed on account of rainy weather. Maori warriors gone to England in Dover Gastle. Jenner elected for South-Western Province. Contract for part ofEchuca line let yesterday to John Bourne for forty-five thousand six hundred. Tariff conference will take place at end of next week.
Woman named Sarah Breeze died from fright caused by handling a dead frog. Gothenburg sails Monday. Hydra, and Andrew sail shortly. Arrived: City of Hobart, Blue Jacket, Gothenburg.
