INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION.
{To the Editor of the Daily Times.) Sir, —Allow me to observe that the coal described in your report as exhibited by me from Lytteltort was merely sent to my care, and consisted of two separate samples. The first was coal from the Grey River, sent by Messrs J. Olliyier and Son, of Christchurch i the second was exhibited oy the Kbwal Coal Company, and obtained from their mines in Canterbury, about thirty-five miles from Christchurch. . I* may add that Dr Hector, the Provincial Geologist, has kindly undertaken to analyse these coals with others submitted to him by the Committee, lam, &c, Frederick. J, Moss.
