The Eliza Goddard arrived in the morning, bringing, with other cargo, a line lot of 74 horses, which she is now discharging at the beach. The Nor'Wester is also discharging horses and sheep, and a great portion of the City of Melbourne's cargo is likewise out, all in good condition. The San Francisco has been the first large vessel which has this year discharged her stock alongside the apology for a pier with which Port Chalmers is only provided. The Albatross, after some delay, has dropped down from town, ami sails this evening, along with, the Success and another schooner.
The Omeo had all her stock and cargo on board, and ready on ihe 10th to start; put oh sailing- till the 11th, and finding the mail was not telegraphed,
started. Captain M'Lachlan had strict instructions ■ it the mail was signallizcd at the Heads to wait for if, | but af- 0.30 p.m. on the 11th. no signs ot the mail afc Grleiielg. The Aliiarabra will be ready for sea in a day or two, and will briug.oa the English mail. The Omeo has had light southerly breezes throughout, and has made the passage in six days. At 7 a.m. this; morning off Kuapuke passed the s.s. Aldinga; at 8 a.m. passed the s.s. City of Hobart and the Titauia. ; j The Alhambra was op the slip. Mr Harry Jackson, .; the celebrated comedian and burlesque actor, is a pas-! senger per Oraeo.
