NELSON COLLEGE. —The first Election ot Scholars will take place on Monday, the 29th .September, in the present year. Three Scholarships will be offered for competition, 1 one Foundation Scholarship of the annual vtdue of £30, tenable for two years, to which all students at the College, wheresoever- born or resident, who shall uot have attained the age of eighteen at the above date, are admissible j the Alfred Fell Scholarship, of the annual value of £-20, tenable for two years, to which all boys under fifteen at the above date are admissible ; and one Foundation Scholarship o r £10 for one year, to which students in the junior school only are admissible. The names of candidates, together with certificates of their age, must be sent iv to the Principal at any time not later than the 22nd of September. Candi* dates must attend in person at the College, on Wed* nesday, the 24th of September, at 9*30, a.m., to be examined on that and the following days. Subjects or Examination.
