This might ii ive been done privately with less discourtesy. lam sure th^i Dr W'atcrs, as well as myself, will be most happy to afford any particulars of the ca-e. This, however, cannot be done w:th propriety through the medium of your journal. Dr H ulnae denies tbat the euidemi.-di-ease can ever be sporadic—that is c.in ever occur in an instance or two without spreading; I am obliged to differ from UrHulciein this respect, and shall hope to substantiate! the opinion in a day or two: and I a\n certain Hint although medical nu'ii conf s^ the highly diflusive ciinracN rot the disease they y<t allow that exf©->tional instances such as the present do occasionally or-cur.
