The Company entertain no doubt that they will very soon bo in a position to tender to perform some partion of the Inter-Provincial Mail Service—an.l itia believed that the General Government and Uie various Provincial authorities would readily avail them selves of the services of vessels owned by a Ne?> Zealand proprietary, and directed by local, energetic, and responsible Management. The great successrof the various Australian Steam Companies leave little doubt that similar results will Ihj secured by a New Zealand Steam Comany, established on a broad and permanent basis, susceptible of expansion, with a view to meet the requirements of ( that prosperous future which it is believed will cert tainly and shortly be realised in New Zealand.
