HOBART TOWN, AUG. 19. 1862.

There is very little doing on the wharf, and trade general'v is dull. Wheat, Ate.— In the grain market there has been little doinav Some few parcels of wheat have ehanzed hands at ss. to ss. 3d. per bushel. Flour is Pi moderate demand for home consumption. At the Mills prices vary from Ll2 to Ll3. Bran may be quoted at Is 3d. to Is. 51. per bushel- Oats are rather dull of sale, and there is but a limited quantify in the market. Good samples still sell at ss. to Cs." 6d. per bushel. Barley for malting purposes is easily disposed of at 6s. to 6s. 6d., and Cape about 4s. p2r bushel. H as. —Considering that at this season of the year there is hardly so much good bay coming forward, th- re is a fair enquiry. We quote to-day at L 5 10s. to L 6 55.: for good samples the latter has been obtained to-day ; inferior has sold for L 5, and there is a little doing in pressed, at L 3 10s. to L 5 per ton. We may mention that there is a small enquiry just now as fodder for horses, while on the passage between this and New Zealand. , Potatoes.—Prices have not fluctuated in the least for some time, in consequence of the very little enquiry that exists. Onions. —Very few sales are made, although some enquiry for shipment exists. We believe that good samples fetch about L 23 per tonTimber.—Prices remain unaltered, and there is only a moderate demand.

Butter.—This article of dairy produce is very scarce, and ls. lOd. has baen obtained for a fair sample of potted. Fresh is scarcer tlian generally at this season of the year, and fetches a high price.— Hobart Town Advertiser.
