Sydney, 16th August. * Mr. Botts, the well-known proprietor of Botts's Wharf, shot himself this morning, whilst laboring under a temporary fit of insanity. A coroner's inquest wi)t be held this evening. The Coromandel diggings are exciting some attention, and the lord Ashley, which sailed this morning for New Zealand, has taken a great many passengers for that gold field.
