REPARATION LEAGUE. PRIZE OF FIFTY SOVEREIGNS OR SILVER CUP of the same value, at the option of the winner, for the best Pamphlet on the advantages of Separation, and TWENTY SOVEREIGNS FOR THE SECOND BEST. The proprietors of the Olayo Daily Times vril 'present to the writer of the best Pamphlet on the advantages of Separation, a Prize of Fifty Sovereigns or a Silver Cup of the same value, at the option of the winner, and the Separation League will present a purse of Twenty Sovereigns for the second best Pamphlet. The following will be the conditions : — The decision to rest with a committee appointed by the Separation League, but of which the Editor of the Daily Times is to be a a member. The Editor of the Daily Tinuis, to publish, at his option, portions or the whole of any of the pamphlets sent in for competition in the columns of that newspaper, but the right to publish in the form of a 'pamphlet to remain with the authors. The competition to be open to the whole colony, exceptiug only the Editor and Proprietors of the Daily Times. The Pamphlet to be sent in on or before August 10th, endorsed Prize Pamphlets, and addressed to the Editor of the Daily Times, care of Secretary of the Separation League. Each pamphlet to. be signed by a motto, and in a sealed envelope, accompanying it the name of the author to be stated. Th.c sealed envelope to be addressed to the Secretary of the Separation League. This stipulation must be imperatively observed, as pamphlets with the author's name attached will be disqualified. The pamphlets are to he written in a legible hand, on one side of the paper only.
