Sugars withdrawn at an advance of "£2 per ton, owing to advices from Mauritius that prices had advanced Ihpre £3. per ton, with stock light, and very little coming forward. The southern and western escorts have brought down 10,438 ozs. of gold. Dividends at the rate of 15 per cent per annum are declared by the Bank of New South Wales, and the New South Wales Marine Assurance Company. — Argus Telegram.
