Student manifestations at Paris; several arrests. Montauban's Pension Bill has been rejected. In Italy, Ricasoli has resigned. He could not agree with Victor Emmanuel. Ratazzi succeeds. Garibaldi is at Genoa.
Consols, 93£. The wool sales have opened, and previous prices arc-maintained.
