ROSS & JOHNSTON respectfully announce to the ladies of Dunedin and vicinity that, they have made arrangements with WRIGHT'S CELEBRATED BAND On the occasion of the trip-oftho "Rainbow"'to the Otago Heads and adjacent localities to-morrow. The Band in question will perform several of the most favorite airs from our modern composers, and It is hoped that this provision may conciliate the patronage, while it contributes to the entertainment, of the ladies of Dunedin. The "Rainbow"' will take her departure from Stafford-street Jetty punctually at half-past nine tomorrow morning. Tickets to be had on board-^-7s Gd each. A commodious Cabin and spacious awning provided. MEMBERS of tlic OTAGO JOCKEY CLUB are particularly requested to attend a Meeting to be held at the Club Room, Provincial Hotel, on Friday, the 18th inst., at Eight o'clock, for the winding up of accounts and despatch of important business.
