The first of a series of weekly flour sales was held at the stores of Messrs. Dalgety and Co. On Tuesday a considerable quantity was offered, but no salewas eiFected, the whole having been bought in at £1710s. Holders of flour generally are asking £19 for prime Adelaide flour. Messrs. F. Moss & Co. sold' by auction yesterday Bass'No 3 ale, in'bottlo, at 14s ; brandy (Gros'), 18 • ,6d to 10s ; oats, Scotch, 3s 7<l to.3s lOd; dried apples 6dj sardines, qr-boxes, 8s 9d ; half boxes, 14s 6d patent candles, short .weight, Is Id; Liverpool soap, Sis per cwt j water-tight boots, 0s; mustard, lls (W per doz; boxes tea, 30s ; Sharp's axes, G3s:per case.
