Right op ißusiißAsaiiXQ.—-The >Wagga Wagga- ■ Express says —"TJeistey may certainly be considered " one of the most daring andimpudent bushrangers who have ever infested, the colony of New South Wales, and it seems tha,t he was so held among the honorable fraternity to which he belongs, as the- following anecdote "will prove. It seems, -while he was recently in tjhe-Guhdagai lock-up, he- fell across another gentleman in difhculties, who informed him- that he had himselfbeen_ stuck up o& the Southern road, adding, "' I don't think it was you who did it, though," " No,np. '■ replied Mr. Peisley, " I sold the right of that road five years ago, so it's not likely I should have stuck you up." We "have heard of selling a milkwalk, or a croEsinc-gwegpiDg, but we never expected to. hear of a man disposing of a branch bushranging business, doubtless a very profitable one, although, not in every respwt deniable.! 1
