THE WHOLESALE DEPARTMENT j has the careful attention of the Proprietor, whose long experience in the several undermentioned branches, with his direct shipments from England and Australia, will be sufficient warrant that all Goods are first-class. The Stock comprises—Wines, Spirits, Beer in Case and Bulk, Groceries, Provisions, and Slops, which will be charged a moderate advance only on Duncdin prices—thus saving to buyers tin; loss oi' Time, the risk of Breakage, Commission, Storage, &c, and the great advantage of purchasing- in quantities suitable to their immediate wants on the field itself. VICTORIA STORES, CLARENDON, AND FORWARDING DEPOT Being; situate at the head of direct water carriage from Duediii, merchants, settlers, storekeepers, and others forwarding- goods to the gold fields and interior by this route, can depend on their being sent on at the lowest rates and every care. The Government Whari here having- been supplied with crane, rails, and truck, and Government Jetty Keeper, every facility is afforded to lUscharg-c with care and promptitude. Country buyers can supply themselves here with Groceries, Provisions, Wines, Spirits, Beer, Timber, Furniture, &c, at the carriage advance on Dunedin rates. Storage for 500 tons. Storckeepere, publicans, miners, anil others on the gold fields—farmers and. settlers in the Province, requiring- goods to be forwarded direct from town, can do so through this office.
