To the Editor of the Otago Dailt Times. Sir—l am one of the unfortunate individuals who were deluded into paying £o ss. subscription to the_so called Chamber of Commerce .under the impression and with the implie.l promise that I should get value received as a trader from the benefits that would be conferred on the commerce of the place. As the Chamber hfts not, nor is likely to .have any practical existence, can I not sue the Committee for obtaining money under false pretences, or _by some other means obtain the return of my subscription.
