She was thoroughly well built last winter, at Auckland, under the owner's personal inspection; frame of best hardwood with Kauri planking'; coppered with 22 oz. copper, and copper-fastened; schooner-rigged, and carries" also, a square-sail; all her sails new; and the vessel provided with a good, boat; commodious cabin. Length, 84ft. over all; beam, 12ft. 4in.; engine of 16-horsepower ; extreme draft of water, 5 feet. Engine and boiler in first-rate order, and fitted under the superintendence of the Chief Engineer of H.
