IN PURSUANCE of the Dnnedin Town Board Ordinance, Session 11., No. 23 a, I,She Superintendent of the Province of Otago, do hereby appoint the Electors entitled to vote for Members for the Town of Dunedin in the Provincial Council of Otago, to assemble upon MONDAY, the Thirtieth Day of December, 1861, at Twelve o'clock noon, at the Provincial Council Hall, Dunedin, for the purpose of Electing Five Persons to be Members -of the said Town Board, in room of Messrs. James Kilgour John Switzer Arthur Beverly John Duncan Thomas Redmayne, who go out of office on ilia first WEDNESDAY of December, 1861. . And further, in pursuance of the said Ordinance, I hereby appoint John Gillies, Esquire, of Dunedin, Returning Ofticer, to preside at said Meeting, and in the event of a Poll being demanded, I hereby appoint the Polling to take place in the office of the Returning Officer, Dunedin, on TUESDAY, the Thirty-first Day of December, 1861.
