MARTIN & CO. have received • instructions from the owner of the Steamer " Samson/ who is returning to Melbourne by next opportunity, to offer for Sale by Public Auction, at their Rooms, High Street, Dunedin, on SATURDAY the 21st December, at One o'clock sharp, the Powerful Paddle-Steamer " S A M S O N," At present profitably employed in Towing and carrying Passengers in the Harbour. This steamer is admirably adapted for the River and Coasting Trade of this Province, being very powerful on a small consumption of fuel, and having great carrying capacity for cargo and passengers. The vessel will be at Dunedin Wharf from Friday morning until the time of sale, that intending purchasers may have an opportunity of inspecting it. Terms liberal, at sale.
