Received June 3. at 11.15 p.m. ' - MELBOURNE, June 3. The Prince spent a free morning and at midday attended a luncheon given I>y the Returned Sailors' and Soldiers' League, and was made Patron-in-Chief of the League. He then attended the University, where the degree LL.D. was conferred.
Yesterday the Prince received from the King a rush cable giving the Derby resulti To-day his passage through, although cheered, was uninterrupted, for the first tinii? since his arrival. The newspapers did not publish the details of his movements, giving only the engagements, instead of the times and routes from one function to another.
