(Per Press Association.l . WANGANUI, March 11. A big meeting of cricketers and supporters; of the game has demanded the resignation of the "Wanganui Cricket Association's executive. At the conclusion of the day's play m tlie senior match Victoria v. Imlay on February ,21 a. member of the former team is alleged to have struck one of the umpire's, who was a visitor from Dunedin, and lie was laid out for a couple of hours. * The matter was discussed by the executive last week, amd jt was decided to take, no action after a motion to suspend both player and the umpire, who. is alleged to have given provocation, had. been defeated by one vote.
