THE PRICE OF BREAD.

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON. March 11. During ye»terdav afternoon the master bakers discussed Mr Massey's ingestion regarding the price of bread jt con<--'dcrable length with the Board at Tiade, and then asked to see Mr Ma«« «py again, when the following resDUtion was submitted to him: "That ve accept a trial of a farthing advance on the 21b loaf. "Ireadyoffered by the Government •on a £l6 flour "basis, and undertake to fill in a monthly return as required bv the Board, the return to be made compulsory on every baker."'
