The price has recovered, and sales are here ait £3 10a to £3 15s, the former being the puce generally offered. Thoie is not a large quantity offering, as growers are taking advantage of the continuance of fine weather to put an their crops. There is still a fairly large area to dig. Seed potatoes are. an good demand, the eaily rarioties being scarce in consequence of the comparative failure of the early crops. Prices offeied aie Robin Adair and Beauty of Hebron £7 to £B. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report 'as. follows:—. "■Oats.—During; the, :past week . the quantity coining under offer has be'eu small. There is a good enquiry, for .bright, heavy lines suitable for milling or seed requirements at improved, values. Feed lines are also" readily quitted on arrival, at quotations. We quote: Prime milling, 4s to 4s Id; good to best feed', 3s lOcl to 4s; medium to good, 3s 8d to 3s lOd per bushel, sacks extra. Wheat.—Very little of aiiy description is offering. Jlillcrs are ready purchasers for suitable quality at full Government rates. Fowl wheat is in very short supply, and is readily disposed of in small quantities for local requirements at 5s 9d to 6s per bushel, .sacks extra, according to sample. ' Potatoes.—The quantity coming forward of:• late lias been in excess of requirement s, and sales are more-difficult to effect at late rates. -Buyers-are. showing preference for choice' freshly picked l •■samples, faulty lines being neglected.
