SUNDAY GOLF.
Per Press Association. Wellington, June 19. _ A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Sports Protection League carried a resolution: "That thisbranch actively -oppose the steps- which the Wellington City Council proposes to take of asking Parliament for statutory authority, the object of which is to prohibit the playing of golf on city reserves on Sunday, and that this resolution be forwarded to the Board of Control." •
