Five hundred guests were ousted at 4.S hours notice, including Mr and Mrs and Miss Massey, Sir Joseph and Lady Ward, who have moved to the Savoy Hotel. Many guests were unable to find lodgings or vehicles, and had personally to move their belongings in handcarts. (The Hotel Cecil has been appropriated by the Government for the use. or the Air Ministry.)
