Montagu (Financial Secretarv to the Treasury) has announced that the Government has withdrawn, the railway ticket tax. Received April 13, at 8.5 p.m. _ London, April 12. \s a result of a discussion with the Treasnrv and Customs officials, the match manufacturers have withdrawn their opposition to the tax. and will resume their deliveries next week.
