POST OFFICE HOLIDAY HOURS.

The following hours of attendance will be observed at the local Post Office during the Christmas and New Year holidays.— —Christmas Day fSaturday, 25th December).— Post Office—A close holiday will be observed. All mails for despatch will close at C a.m. There will be a counter delivery of letters between 8 and 9 p.m. on Friday, •24th December. - Telegraph Office—Open 9.30 to 10 .a.m. and 5 to 5.30 p.m. (Rates, same as Sundays.) Telephone Exchange—Open 9 to 10 a.m. and 5 to 6 p.m. —Boxing Day, Monday, 27th. December.— Post Office —Open in all branches (except .Money Order and Savings Bank) from f) to 10 a.m. The morning mails will close as usual at 6 a.m.. All other mails close at 8 a.m. Letter-carriers will make one complete delivery, commencing at 7.30 a.m. Telegraph Office—Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. 'Telegrams must he presented at the side entrance between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and after 8 p.m.) Telephone Exchange—Open 8 a.m. to midnight.
