It is not yet all that is needed, for the crops still rcuire a thorough soaking. The cereal crop.-" ere looking particularly nell, and arc making great growth, and at present the harvest prospects are altogether very bright. .Shearing ha- already commenced here, and most of the dry sheep have b?cn shorn. Nurse Gorman's parent.have resided here for a number ol years, and their many friends were v >ry di-lre-sed to read of Nurse Gorman being posted as missing, and subsequently as drowned The late Nurse Gorman sailed from New Zealand by the hospital ship Maheno, and prior to b«r departure she held the rank of si--t.-r •:>) the- Staff of the "Wellington Haspital.
