DUNEDIN FANCIERS' CLUB SHOW

(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, June 3. - Special prizes donated for the South Island by the Cocker Spaniel Club were awarded' as follows: —Puppy dog, J. Ringlanil. Puppy bitch, C. A. Clark. Novice dog, J. R. Glover. Novice bitch. Clark. Open dog, Glover. Open bitch, R. H. Bagshaw. Trophy for best heavy bulldog (New Zen land-bred), dog or bitch. P. W. Witt. Trophy for best fox terrier pup, R. Francis.

The following local exhibitors were successful at the Dunedin Fanciers' Club's annual show, which .opened yesterday:—ln English setters (puppies, dogs or bitches) Mr M. J. Hannon's Gyp took first prize, Mrs J. Grant's Newborough Shot second, Mr A. Gilliand's Newboiiough Phil third, and Mr M J. Harmon's Newborough- Belle, r. Mr D. Gillies' Waitaki Bluebell took first prize in Cocker spaniel bitches (novice), and second in the open section.
