A BUSY MINISTER.

MR RHODES IN CANTERBURY DISTRICT. (Per Press Association.) Christchnrch, Jiine.l. The Hon. R. H. Rhodes (PostmasterGeneral and Minister of Public Health) arrived in town this morning from, Wellington, find will remain in the Canterbury district for about 10 days. ' MiRhodes will spend a busy day to-mor-row. In the morning he will take part in the King's Birthday parade of Territorials, and at two o'clock in the afternoon he will open the King George V. Coronation Memorial Hospital in connection with the consumptive sanatorium on Cashmere Hills. On June 10 the Minister will officially turn the first sod of the new branch of railway that is to be built between Culverden and ■Waian. On the evening of June 12 Mr Rhodes will attend the opening of the new public hall at Dnvauchelles.
