DEATH FROM EXPOSURE.
(Per Press Association.) Dunedinj June 2. Mr O. C. Graham, coroner, hold .in inquest this morning on the body of Robert Martin Crosbie, whose body was found in the bush off Dundas street, oh Sundav afternoon. On the evening of Mnv 20th Crosbie, who was manager of Messrs Hurt's factory, left Port Chalmers by the 5.15 train for his home in Cumberland street, T)unedin. but was not heard of again until the hodv was discovered. The evidence .showed that deceased apparently got off the _ t,rain at Pelicliet Rav. There was no sign of a strugtrle whore the body was found. A number of matches —some used and some unused—seemed to indicate that, deceased had been trying to find his way out of the bush. A verdict was returned of death from exposure, deceased having temporarily lost his memory, and so been unable to find his way home.
