• On Christmas Kay, celebration, 'of Holy Communion will i be ilield at •'&. Luke's at S and >at the; close of thfe 11 o'clock service, so that all Jcommuiiicants may have the opportunity of attending on this great Church festival. At 7.30 p.m. a. Christmas Carol Service will be held, which will be distinctly a service of music and song, to which everybody is heartily- invited. The ladies of the Decorative Guild would be very thankful for. gifts of greenery and flowers sent 'to the church on. Wednesday morning and for the assistance of ajiy friends in the -work of decorating the church. The Ardgowan and Airedale settlers' annual picnic will -be held on Boxing Day in a paddock kindly lent by Mr J. R. Gilchrist. Hot- water, tea, milk, and sugar will be supplied. The annual, combined picnic (Livingstone, Maerewtoenua and Tokarahi) will be held in Mr Sonierville's paddock on December 30.
